Baby Jackson
Our Journey
January 2020 after years of trying to conceive, we were given the news that we would never have children without assistance. After cycling through our options and finances we realized we couldn't afford “assistance”. So I/we opted to go through a surgery with a 30% success rate. However, the surgery along with the follow up meds didn't bring us any success. The stress of it all was really starting to weigh heavy on us, so we sold our house in Ohio and made our why back home to Atlanta, GA. Using the funds from the sale of our home we started our journey with IVF.
Our first round of IVF was unsuccessful and we went through a season of deep depression. However, we were ready to try again 5 months later and from that round we had our first miracle, my Justice Emmanuel. The first time I laid eyes on him I was ready to try again! So when Justice turned 7 months we started the process all over again. I had to go through a series of tests, 2 procedures, and my second laparoscopy to remove endometriosis. We did another embryo transfer October 25, 2023 @ 11:30a. After much prayer and fasting God reminded me once again that he hears and he’s with us in this process. On Monday, October 30 I saw two line on my pregnancy test and I began to weep tears of joy!
This has been quite a journey. This journey has humbled us in every way, showed us just how strong we are together, and no matter how much planning we do it's God that sparks life. Thank you for being apart of our journey, your prayers, and your gifts.
